Fillmore Miami Beach Attractions

The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater is a leading live music venue in South Florida with an extraordinary history that's deeply rooted in American pop culture. Today, it is a destination for a wide variety of acclaimed artists ranging from stand up comics to EDM DJs to classic rock bands.

Its picturesque auditorium features neon-lit chandeliers and comfortable red velvet seats, arranged in stadium-style progression overlooking the stage with its matching curtain. The building's facade keeps in line with Miami Beach's signature art deco style architecture, featuring a turquoise-and-white marquee reminiscent a 1950s cinema.

The eclectic acts and aesthetic of the Fillmore Miami Beach are relatively new for the venue that was once used more for television and performing arts. A popular destination for Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Jack Benny, the Jackie Gleason Theater was also once the home of The Ed Sullivan Show, The Dick Clark Show, the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants, and, of course, the Jackie Gleason Show, which set the sketch comedy bar for Saturday Night Live and similar programs.

From the 1970s to the 2000s, touring Broadway shows and concerts took the stage, and in 2007 the theater undertook a new identity by joining forces with the iconic Fillmore concert chain.

A venue with a story to tell, the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater is a sensorially pleasant place to experience the history of South Beach culture and catch a rocking show. To keep an eye out for upcoming shows, check out the venue website here.
