Osteria Del Teatro Restaurant

Restaurant

Osteria del Teatro is one of Miami Beach's best restaurants, and a foolproof spot for Italian in South Beach. Located in a heritage art deco building on Washington Avenue, near theater-turned-nightclub Cameo, it oozes Miami appeal with a neon sign and 20th century architecture. Osteria's dining room is dimly lit with romantic, full-window views of the bustling city outside.

Neighborhood

Set on the corner of two iconic South Beach streets-Washington Avenue and Española Way-Osteria del Teatro is just two blocks up from the Winter Haven Hotel. In the very heart of all the South Beach action, expect to see visitors and locals alike stopping by after a day at the beach.

What To Eat

Osteria del Teatro has four appetizers. We love the gamberi al caprino, which consists of baked shrimp stuffed with goat cheese and fresh herbs, served with a citrus sauce. The asparagi al gorgonzola also impresses with poached asparagus, grilled polenta and gorgonzola fondue.

A sizable list of pastas and main courses leaves diners with more than enough options. The ravioli de resce is a strong blend of Italian tradition and local fare, with black ink ravioli stuffed with white fish and crab meat under a creamy lobster sauce. Another favorite is the tonno al rosmarino-marinated tuna loin grilled and served with shitake mushrooms and a lemon-rosemary sauce.
