As part of Hersha Hotels & Resorts, the newly renovated Winter Haven Miami Beach, Autograph Collection implements EarthView, a proprietary sustainability program with a triple-bottom-line approach fueled by sustainability initiatives. Through this program, Hersha launched a private-label refillable water bottle made from infinitely recyclable aluminum sold at our hotels. For each bottle purchased, $1 is donated to help bring water to those in need. We decrease hotel waste by providing key cards made from recycled materials, refillable bath amenities, a towel and linen reuse program, and property-wide recycling. We participate in Clean the World, a social organization with the mission to save millions of lives around the world by distributing recycled soap and hygiene products donated by hotels and resorts. Winter Haven also provides complimentary bike rentals to help guests explore South Beach in an eco-friendly fashion.
